Well, another Division Championships has come and gone and I think that as a group I have never been more
impressed with the teamwork and sportsmanship that I saw this weekend.  I think that all of my schools that I started in
New York would be hard pressed to match it.  Needless to say the weekend was going to be tough.  The space was
small but complaining about it or worrying about it was not going to solve anything or help us win events so we sighed
and drive on with our fencing missions for the weekends.  Here are some of my highlights.

Bobby, get the teammate award for withdrawing in the open sabre tournament to let Mike go on and try to win the
gold.  This was because he had just got done earlier winning the overall epee event. An awesome accomplishment
when you figure our epee program just kicked into gear this season.

Mike fenced an awesome bout in the finals of Men's sabre. Did the best in the men's foil for the school and had a
respectable day in epee. I think that one of the things that I head the most was how much he helped the others with
advice during their breaks.

Kevin had an awesome day on Sunday winning the u16 men's sabre goal and a silver to one of Blake's old students
Kelly Herrick.  He also had a great day on Saturday with sabre and epee bronze in the open events.  It was almost a
Ziechmann final in the open epee event.

Will the youngest of the Horsemen had a really great weekend with 2 golds in Under 14 sabre, and epee.  Then he
finished off the U14 with a silver in the foil.  Then the silver medal in the u16 in the sabre.  He lost to his teammate
Kevin.

The four horseman came to Divisional and the "The angels wept"

Now here are other awesome achievements from our group.

Two of the three Charlie's Angels competed this weekend and Meg got the silver in the u14 women's sabre.  It was
awesome to behold.  Jessie was a trooper all thorough the event and I wish that I had told them to also fencing in the
U16 event because then they would have been joined by Carlin their team mate who won the bronze.

John Kral discovered that moving the blade around will confuse your opponents

Karen set a realistic goal to win one bout in her epee pool and won three.  She also showed that she has the patience
to go three minutes with a B fencer and only allow one touche

Warren had a good run with foil and never gave up and learned that faster is not always better.

John Ziechmann learned that there is people that can hit as hard as him.

Drew and Eli did really well and all the sabre fencers in the other clubs agree with me as to why he will be now known
as Yoda.  Drew once again proven that he was the come back king.  No medals this year but Will will need someone
to replace him next year and they will do it very well.

Patrick had the pool result of the lifetime on Sunday and will remembered the saying from Blake. "If it works the first
time keep doing it until it doesn't work anymore."

Proctor earned his first win in the direct elimination next time it will be to win the next round and make it into the finals!

We have qualified the teams for every men's event in open and u-19 in the division.

Finally, Matt and Kevin got their first look at the Division gathered in all its glory and know what their orders are.
Recruit, train and prepare for next year.  Bring on the Crusades!!!!!!!!!
