| The July tournament was a blast. It was the first time that Blake had competed in all three events since he has moved down from NY. He won the foil and the epee (everyone is minus a couple of toes). Then he came in third in the sabre. Bobby beat him 15-14 now he knows how Kolasa felt at nationals. Then he lost to his teammate Mike in the match for the goal. Mike used a lot of his foil and epee knowledge to bind and lock out the blade that was remising way to much during the bout with Blake. Having the new machines is nice. You really don't appreciate some of the issues with the new timing unless you fence on them. |
