The Russina Revolution tournament was a blast.  The facility is awesome.  14
strips set up and ready to go.  I really think that this should be used at the site
for the sectional championships every year but as we all know politics would get
in the way of that happening.  Kevin had top honors by coming in 3rd.  He lost to
Bryan Cheny 15-13.  It was a great bout to watch and Bryan went on to win the
gold.  Philip had an impressive 14-15 match with Jacabson that he lost on the
last point.  Warren and Eli did good.  Eli beat the A in his pool and finally
realized that confidence that you can win means everything.  Mike and Blake
have had better tournaments but still made place 9th and 11th.

We go to meet a lot of old friends who Blake hasn't  seen in years.  Ni was there
and it was funny watching her ref sabre.  Blake and her were on the Olympic
Festival team together in St. Louis in 1994.  She was a foil fencer though!

In all the trip was worth as Eli put it "We drove 4 hours, fenced for 4 hours and
drove back for 4 hours. Wow, we drove twice as much as we fenced"  Blakes
only reply to Eli was, "Welcome to the wonderful world of fencing"
