| This weekend we travelled to Altanta to the first tournament of the year at Atlanta fencers club. Five of us travelled down and man did we have some fun. The epee is still going strong. Kevin found hard and strong for his 2nd place finish against Carlos placing ahead of the 6 other B's and 1 other A. Phillip lost a heart breaking match 15-13 and Blake was knocked out by one of the B's 15-14. Karen had one of funnest bouts of her epee career to date and was later avenged by Kevin. In all we had a great time and we need to work harder on our foil. The best was making new friends and reconnecting with some old ones we haven't seen in years. |
