| This was the RYC weekend. We went to qualify seven of our fencers in three weapons for nationals and the tournament was a huge success. We took home 5 medals 2 gold and 3 bronze. Sarah Lolli was the huge winner this weekend by coming in first for the Y12 girls sabre and third overall by defeating the boys. The other gold medal of the weekend went to Jasmine who proved her epee skill outmatched the skills of many of the other epee fencers from the regional. Cameron and Zak tied for 3rd in the epee. We met a lot of great fencers, coaches and parents and look forward to them coming up to our tournaments in the future. Actually some of them came to the event that we had on Sunday!! |
